Braid had a Party
August 17th, 2008
We had a party last Thursday to celebrate being done with Braid. Everyone who really cares about us found a way to attend, regardless of distance or hardship. Thanks guys!! (All photos here were taken by Danielle McMillen; some were cropped by me.)

We had the party at Sugar Cafe. I’d been there in the past for a Nokia party and a Hudson Entertainment party, and hey – if it’s good enough for Nokia, it’s good enough for me!

Jonathan Blow showed up. Here he is with Edmund McMillen.

And here’s Edmund with me.

Braid characters by Cubeecraft were present. All of them were stolen by guests.

Not everyone felt like being social. And that’s fine. Luckily we brought an Xbox.

Kyle from 2D Boy (World of Goo) made a grudging appearance.
Thanks to everyone who came! It was a lot of fun, obviously.

Isn’t that quite a dangerous position to be playing a 360?
Actually, forget it. Somehow forgot that Braid is an XBLA game (even though i’ve been playing it the past few days). D’oh.

At first I didn’t know what you were talking about; I was like, “dangerous position? And this guy is into parkour??”
But now I see. Very observant. Jon put it that way, so probably there was a very good reason for it.
